Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Oh I don’t know why I can’t get the 6th out of my mind. I guess it was because she was packing.
I am not packing much yet but I always get my suitcase down early so I can pack things like shampoo, toothpaste, etc…the small stuff.

Yes I am but nervous too. I only have 50 minutes to catch my connecting flight in Salt Lake.
That is doable unless the first flight is delayed.
If we leave Tucson late i will be in trouble…..and it has happened, planes always seem to have trouble with this or that!!!
I have told a bunch of old friends and cousins and they plan on meeting us that night at the bar. So not sure what the plan will be if i dont make the flight???
Things like this can be worked out, just let everyone know the situation. Seems airports could help more with this problem. Maybe provide a shuttle in a golf cart or something. If hospitals can do it seems airports could. Of course nothing is possible if the time between connects shrinks to small.
