Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Hello everyone! Just got here and haven’t decided what I’m going to do with the rest of the evening. Not really in the mood for basketball, but I might put it on anyway. Just found out I missed almost the entire loon season. Although LPC Loon Cam No. 2 may get a hatch. So, tomorrow is another day. That’s all I have for now. Hope everyone is having a great evening! 🫡

I did take it easy. Played with D, napped, watched animal videos, and forced myself to get up and eat. I was thinking, though, those green beans sound SO GOOD — I should have done that. Then i thought, Nah, i will just dream about them. 😂 How are you feeling today?

I really like both players and cheer for both. I really wanted Zverev to win this one because the recent French Open win was his first grand slam. Before that, they said he was the best player currently that had never won a slam. He is 29. I think he deserves a second one. Sinner is only 24. I think he will win a bunch of them.

the first egg hatched at LPC loon cam2 yesterday but the baby disappeared during the night, they don’t know what happened to it, now we are waiting to see what happens with the second egg

Hello…did ya’ll see my tip for removing pet hair from screens? you can use a lint/ pet hair brush, it works. That’s what I do. So today I went to church, then the church talent show, then a lunch after..it was fun. Later DH and I went to the vendor market in the net town, mostly because Bane loves going there. Now DH has jobs to do..his dad’s hearing aid broke (caregiver stepped on it), his a/c isn’t working right, his van isn’t working right and he has to finish unplugging the gutters. Hey Lynn, i’ve used the pet hair brush on screens, they really are very effective. Glad you DH got to the vendor market; he needed a break from all the repair/care work he has on his plate. 🙏

his half brother died a year or two ago, he lived in Alabama…no, just a regular van.
So it all falls to your husband.
Sounds like a busy day for you. I use a lint brush on many things, even the big rugs under my coffee table in front of our couches that the vacuum wont work sucking up Nikki’s hair/fur.

Well the kitten came on the porch and Jo went and fed it. I’ll give her credit, she never wants a cat to go hungry.

Goodness, so humid and no breeze. Dominic, Cody’s youngest, is 18 today; they went to Water World, the big water park in Denver. I loved water parks, always so much fun. They used to have a great one in Las Vegas.
