Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Bella Buds. We are probably going to get a lot of rain. I imagine there will be some flooding around. I’m not worrying about us, but you don’t like to see others have problems. I don’t have any real plans for today. Maybe I’ll get my curtains ordered. I’ve seen several I like. Julie, I do like a lot of the ones with sunflowers and butterflies. Jo is not too picky about curtains and such unless she really doesn’t like it. I’ll show her the one I like to be sure she agrees. She hasn’t said any thing about the curtain over the sink that has a hole I could put my fist through! I think the hole was caused by it rubbing against the water spigot for the filtered water.
You do need new curtains and it will be nice and cheery for the winter time😍
Yep! What I really wish is to tear up the carpet and put the same floor down we have in the kitchen.

No I am staying home from church. I gave myself a pedi and polished my toes this morning and have been doing laundry…washed sheets, quilt we use as a blanket and the quilted “bed spread” I havent sopped much since i got home so I am tired, it is 107° outside and it is hot and hard to just go out to the clothesline.

I want to repeat one thing up here : please dont eat this fish. Frozen, thawed, frozen, its dangerous, food poisoning-wise.
Packing it well, still cold doesnt make a difference. It gets and develops bacteria and toxins. Dont get me wrong, please. 😘.

It would make you really sick if you ate it, bacteria, did it’s still feel cold? was the fish frozen? working with food like I have and have food safety classes taken. I wouldn’t serve it to the public

Yes, you can eat fish that has thawed in a suitcase as long as it is still cold (below 40°F / 4°C), but you must cook it immediately or cook and then refreeze it. Do not refreeze raw thawed fish
Just don’t want you two to get food poisoning, if it smells really fishy and is slimey don’t eat it, like a strong fish smell its fresh water fish it should smell clean

A supermarket wouldnt be allowed, to sell it. No cold chain as it should be. We had food poisoned people in the hospital. Not nice at all. When meat or fish is thawed or partly thawed , then cook it right away ! Otherwise bacteria will multiply on the thawed stuff. Bad for our body. If rick would have cooked it right away, then he could have put the cooked fishmeal in the freezer again. Cooking fish completely kills the bacteria. I know, its a pita.
