I wonder if Louis stopped by this morning. At noon, both E’s had empty crops, and after this, only saw one delivery by Anna. Roux got most of that fish. Gumbo got some bones at the end. This nest needs more food deliveries. Hope that Louis is okay.
At the E-3 nest both eaglets were fed. At the E-1 nest both crops flat at 12:30. One fish was brought around 2 pm and Roux ate almost all of it. Roux was constantly bonking at Gumbo so that Gumbo wouldn’t eat, but Gumbo managed to sneak about 7 bites of it. No other food was delivered after this. Hope for better food deliveries tomorrow at E-1.
Both E’s ate very well today in the E-1 nest. Gumbo is getting really good at quickly grabbing pieces. The yellow cord is partially exposed in the nest again. Hopefully, a parent will cover it up once more.
Plentiful fish in the E-3 nest today. Both E’s had good crops at 12:30. Then more fish was brought.
Jazz was challenging Nola again this morning
But for every one bonk from Jazz, Jazz gets bonked back three times. Someday, Jazz will figure out that it’s not worth the energy.
