Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. I am going to cook some eggs. Some over medium, some over easy. It will be a challenge. I will also make some pancakes from a box mix. I got hungry looking at that yummy Mexican food.

We had a nice time at the Farmers Market. I bought Rick a new spoon for cooking made out of Mesquite wood. I got free cotton candy, I had the prickly pear flavor and I bought a small chile ristra. Baja cafe for lunch. It was packed, a 20 minute wait. The food was delicious. Then they hung out for awhile.

I never cared for cotton candy, I always got a cream puff when our family went to a fair or such
I wondered how they roasted all the chilis Ardyth,Turned in a basket over a fire that’s so cool. The band playing the traditional guitars is cool did they play Mariachi style? the don’t have the hats, but it was to hot for those big hats. The cotton candy guy is cuter than a bugs ear😘 you Freinds look like they were having a good time😍I wonder how they put those bottle caps together?
The end of the tennis match was so funny. The winner didn’t realize it was over. I think he thought his opponent had another game.
