Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good Morning Bellas its a go on the roof and its coming off right now. Not to loud yet just a scraping sound people walking around over my head😂 Jades not to freaked out yet I fed her down stairs she can go in the basement if she wants to right now she’s supervising from the kitchen window😼 have a good day Bellas😘 I didn’t get my morning wake up call from Judy no matter, I woke up when I heard voices and laddlers😂
Our pets get freaked out when anyone including Rick is on the roof!
Jade can hear it shes down stairs I’m up stairs on the computer, listening to the thuds, nail gun will be loud. But what’s happening now the tear off isn’t bad

I have the blinds and windows closed for privacy and the dust. Jade keeps messing with the blinds she wants to look at who is out there😂
Curiosity killed the cat, NOT! Just a little excitement for her, a movie! Just open a couple blinds for her and don’t parade around naked.
I have the front door open she can go out on the front porch-she’s so curious about things, Hey Debbie😍
That will be fun for her.

My Dad didn’t have shingle lifts or nail guns. It was all muscle!
They carry the shingles up the ladders, the use nail guns because its faster
I imagine when my Dad first started there were no nail guns. I’m surprised nowadays they don’t have a lift. It is hard work carrying up the shingles and takes more time too.
No lift I have just seen them carry the shingles up a ladder. There’s no room for a lift-the driveway has a big dumpster in it I will take a picture if I can get out of the house?

Judy text me- her phone is not working she can’t call out and no one can call her. She said she going to T-mobil. I woke up right when they got here. I went outside and told them good morning😃 and it lets them know someone is here if they have a question. Its a curtousy thing. Jade doesn’t care at all she’s not scared, I’m here and calm so she’s calm😘

Tomorrow bright and early the roofers will be here at 7am, it could rain so I don’t know if they will be able to do it? but I need to be up when the get here. love squash! we bought a buttercup squash at the farmer’s market, never had one before.

I love squash too Lynn one of my favorite vegetables-I got a spaghetti squash and winter squash that are called Honey nut I haven’t had them before

Good evening…this afternoon we went to the market in the next town…we go maybe once or twice a month…to see our friends, so Bane can get his treats and once in awhile I buy some little thing. I went for a bike ride there also, and we got ice cream on the way home…it felt so cool but was actually in the low 70s…guess my body isn’t used to that yet. I might read and/or watch some videos on my IPAD..tired because I didn’t sleep well last night. I’ll catch up on the chat..
