Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Tomorrow bright and early the roofers will be here at 7am, it could rain so I don’t know if they will be able to do it? but I need to be up when the get here. love squash! we bought a buttercup squash at the farmer’s market, never had one before.

Good evening…this afternoon we went to the market in the next town…we go maybe once or twice a month…to see our friends, so Bane can get his treats and once in awhile I buy some little thing. I went for a bike ride there also, and we got ice cream on the way home…it felt so cool but was actually in the low 70s…guess my body isn’t used to that yet. I might read and/or watch some videos on my IPAD..tired because I didn’t sleep well last night. I’ll catch up on the chat..
