Live Hummingbird Nest Cam – Oceanside, CA
Your watching a live broadcast of wild female hummingbirds nesting.
There are several Hummers that nest in this yard. Their nests are usually located bushes and no larger than the size of a golf ball. The nest is made from feathers, leaves and other parts of plant matter. She then wraps this material together with spider webs. The eggs she lays are about the size of a breath mint(tic-tac). Hummingbirds lay 1 or 2 eggs per clutch. You can expect to see them hatch after about 14-16 days from the date they are laid. Good morning Sunshine. I see you made it through any storms. I have no plan either. I’ll find things to do. I may clean the kitchen floor, cook a sweet potato, clean a drawer, watch a tv show. Probably all of them! Old ones, new ones. It is a very big air show. They have parachuting into the River, rescue simulations. The show lasts at least 3 hours.

I remember the Thunder over the River, I was able to watch it on Youtube a couple of years ago probably still can. I have a air show everyday its called the Thunder over my house.😂

No plans today, I’ll just do this and that. I’m less likely to go anywhere on the weekends that involves a store or restaurant. They are more crowded. Of course events or family things are on weekends.
Sounds like a nice day, Debbie. I have a bunch of paperwork to do, so my weekend could be better. Can’t get away from that stuff though, sometimes. Maybe you can just kick back and relax, and watch some of the stuff you recorded.
I don’t have much paperwork to do now. I cleaned out all my files. I do have some things on my mind to do, but no hurry right now. I thought by now the holders of my retirement accounts would be contacting me about drawing out the required annual money for those accounts as required by law. I have to start that this year, I thought they would contact me.
That is just really weird. That you have to do what they want with your money. You’ll have to explain that to me later.
It has to do with the laws surrounding accounts like 401K, 457K, 403K retirement accounts. The accounts help you save for retirement. Then by the time you get to be a certain age, you have to draw out a certain amount. I don’t know why the law is this way. Some of it I’m sure is so the government can tax the money. But some of the accounts called Roth were taxed when you were making the money and then draw interest that is not taxed.

No, I kind of like being able to talk to all of the vets. Same building, why not. The more expertise, the better right now, in my opinion. Maybe once this is over with, I will select one over the others. Thank you for the hugs. I am doing okay right now. Like you, I’m having trouble with weather changes. We got cold weather all of a sudden with snow, and that drastic of a change is no fun for me usually. I really feel old now. 👵

Actually, the vets’ opinions are pretty much the same regarding treatment. A little difference here and there regarding why it happened. And yes, although I have lived in Colorado almost forever, and I’m used to seeing the weather change within minutes from one extreme to the other, it’s doubly annoying now. And you’re right, it has been proven that it is not our imagination.

I watch youtube live cams and read news about the 🐳 timmy. It seems NOT to really start with the action. AND WHY ?? The newspapers say, it is because officials want permits of the vets, of the helpers, everybodys names need to be officially documented. Madness of bureaucracy. Typical german. I hope he 🐳can be rescued, swim in the atlantic ocean again, eat krill, find a family and sing his beautiful whale songs with them. I had called the water police there last week. They are involved in the whale drama , too. I had asked them, to play whale songs ( their communication) to timmy, to maybe activate him to work himself off this sandbank where he is stuck. There is an usa-vet for timmy, she has no work permission here. Those rich folks who support all this had her fly over . Local government of the baltic sea there said,that this (no permission to work here) is a problem. Application had to be made, it’s this way for all the helpers there. The most crazy thing is: the helpers put special cream on timmys skin on his back and cover it with towels or so, to heal some wounds. He is normally in an ocean with higher salt content. Thanks, www. I watched 2 bald eagles mourn the deaths of their two eaglets last year. No doubt that they were feeling the loss. I don’t think that means they should be treated like human beings, though. Nor do I think they should be treated like useless, inanimate objects or beings lacking consciousness, perception, or the ability to feel physical/emotional pain, like some are treating the whale, or even the dogs mentioned yesterday.
I agree. I didnt see those eagles, but i am sure they could feel the loss. With everything you said i do agree.
I had meant for example dogs with unnatural “haircuts”, bows on the head, dresses on, nails colored, have to sit in a big handbag instead of sniffing around and running. Maybe the American can apply for a guest visa that lasts longer? Or an emergency visa? Then instead of the American applying the cream, he/she teaches the German how to do it. I think the USA- vet permission is ok now. I dont know if american vet or germans put the cream on, but it is crazy anyway, to ask for a yes to a cream.
